The project management

"Adaptation for Smallholders to Climate Change" (AdapCC) was a Private Public Partnership between out Cafédirect and out GIZ. Therefore, there was one coordinator from each company: Wolfgang Weinmann from Cafédirect and Kathleen Schepp from GIZ. Together with Kerstin Linne as technical advisor, the team steered, monitored and evaluated the planning and implementation of the PPP.
The project's secretariat was based at the headquarters of the GTZ office in Eschborn, near Frankfurt.

Wolfgang Weinmann

Wolfgang Weinmann is project coordinator for the private PPP partner. At Cafédirect he manages the implementation of the Producer Partnership Program.

Kathleen Schepp

Kathleen Schepp (formerly Jährmann) is the AdapCC project manager and responsible for implementing project activities. She studied Business Administration and Environmental Sciences. Her previous responsibility in GTZ was to develop and administrate Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP) in the Central American region, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Kerstin Linne

Kerstin Linne Kerstin Linne supported the implementation of the AdapCC project with a focus on the Mexican and Kenyan pilot groups, financing mechanisms and mitigation aspects. Furthermore she was the project manager of the "Sangana PPP" on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in the Kenyan Coffee Sector. Now she is working as an independent consultant regarding climate change issues in agriculture.

Sophie Grunze

Sophie Grunze was project intern from September till December 2009 in Eschborn, Germany.
She is currently finishing her Diploma in Geography at the University of Bonn.

Susanne Link

Susanne Link was from the beginning of February to the end of April 2008 the project intern in Eschborn, Germany. Currently, she is studying Economics at the University of Munich and is focussing on development economics and economic policy.

>Anita Augustin

Anita Augustin was from July - October 2008 project intern and supported the project in Lima/Peru. She obtained her degree in Environmental Sociology and International relations at the University of Trier.

Britta Kunze

Britta Kunze was project intern from July - October 2008 and supported Cepicafé in Piura/Peru. She is currently finishing her Bachelor in International Forest Ecosystem Management at the University of Applied Sciences Eberswalde.

Eva Ringhof was project intern from July - October 2008 and supported the project in Piura/ Peru. She is currently finishing her Diploma in Urban and Spatial Planning at the University of Kaiserslautern.
